1. Nurture Shock by Po Bronson and Ashley Merriman: Nonfiction about some of the myths we hold about child rearing. 1. Blood Drive, the vampire urban fantasy that I'd been reading. A little shallow in the end, but readable, so I'll stick with the series for now.

I finished both the vampire anthology and Lover Enshrined this week. Thank god.

The other book I finished was Darkness Visible by William Styron. It's a tiny book, about Styron's fight with depression in the mid 80s. I can relate to the subject matter quite a bit, but, in spite of hoping of finding some new insight or commiseration ( Read more... )
